What is BPI ePay Virtual MasterCard?
BPI ePay Virtual MasterCard is a virtual card specifically made for online transactions. It comes with a 16-digit card number and other information you need to complete an online transaction, such as the card number and CVC or security code. There is no money stored in theBPI ePay Virtual MasterCard–it uses the balance available in your BPI ePay account. Your virtual card has a dynamic 3-digit CVC that is valid for one-time use only. This adds an extra layer of security to your card. Your BPI ePay Virtual MasterCard can be used in MasterCard® affiliated stores.
What is a dynamic CVC?
A CVC, or Card Verification Code, is a 3-digit code unique to your card. It is a security feature that prevents other people from using your card. With BPI ePay, you generate your card’s CVC code by logging in to your account and clicking the GENERATE CVC button. This CVC is dynamic, meaning it is valid for one-time use only, and it expires after 10 minutes. You will need to generate a new CVC once it expires. Generating a CVC is free, and you can do it as many times as needed.
What is a BPI ePay account?
This is an online account that you add funds to using your BPI account. Think of it as a secure wallet for your online shopping money. The money in your BPI ePay account funds your virtual card which you can use to complete online transactions.

Who is eligible to get a BPI ePay Virtual MasterCard?
Everyone who opens a BPI ePay account will automatically get an ePay Virtual MasterCard. Existing BPI account holders are also eligible to sign up for a BPI ePay account and get a BPI ePay Virtual MasterCard.
